A square baler producing hay bales in a field — Baling and handling: discuss the format and loading requirements for your order.

Two bale formats for horse feed.

Our organic alfalfa, also known as lucerne, is supplied as square bales for horse feed. Choose between medium-compressed, long-stem bales and a double-compressed format designed for more efficient transport.

Choose the right bale format

Medium-compressed bales weigh 16–18 kg and have stems of 20–30 cm. Double-compressed bales weigh approximately 20 kg and have shorter stems. Double compression may be associated with a lower protein content; request the current batch analysis before agreeing an order.
